The successful candidate shall be in charge for managing and continuously improving the factory operations, using the state of the art lean manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities: Central installation coordination for large automation projects (involving storage systems and machines from various technologies) for the Chinese market * Coordination of customer representatives, sales, local and international engineers, third party engineers (local and international),… to guarantee a smooth and successful installation * Prior to installation: - Communicate all important technical installation requirements with the customer and support during the preparation phase - Support the scheduling for installation missions of different groups of engineers (local and international) and coordinate logistical details * During installation - Regular project communication meetings on site and systematic tracking of project progress - Practical problem solving and coordination whenever issues arise - Regular reporting of status to management - Translation support for international engineers * Provide ongoing project support to project management and sales representatives to carry the project to a successful closure 1. Academic Background: Degree from International or top Chinese University 2. Which major preferred: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, production engineering, or similar subjects 3. Working experience: 4+ years of experience in a technical role, production environment or in project management for technical projects/machine installations Experience with handling customer relationships is a strong plus 4. Knowledge and skills: - Good coordination skills (judgement and people skills) - Sound technical understanding (mechanical, production systems and/or automation technology) and deep interest in advanced machines and processing technologies - Structured working approach and hands-on problem solving skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to communicate on eye-level with senior customer representatives, sales representatives, internal leadership etc. 5. Language: Chinese (native), fluent German and/or English (CET 6, fluent writing and orally)
