Accounting Supervisor
The Role
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES contact Annie su 010-84104282 Managing accounting and reporting functions - Manages all accounting functions, including: daily, monthly and annual end-closing; accounts payable and receivables
- Responsible for financial reporting, budget and management reporting, treasury, audit preparation, tax planning and compliance
- To ensure and improve transaction processing accuracy, and reporting timeliness
- Assists the Finance Manager in liaison with Tax Officers, External and Internal Auditors, Bankers and government officials
- Manages day-to-day cashflow activities
SAP R3 Key user for Finance function - Prepares SAP entries and reports, including but not limited to statutory filing of financial statements
- Provides end user training (when needed) and be the contact point between End user and IT
Fixed Asset Administrator - Maintains and monitors fixed asset register for the company
Supervision - Provides some supervisory direction to the local Finance Team --- an E2 Accountant and a non-exempt Assistant Accountant handling AP/AR/basic GL.
- Coaches and ensures the continuous competency development of the Finance Team.

The Person
- Personal account (hukou) in Shanghai
- Qualified Accountant and University graduate in Finance & Accounting or related disciplines
- 4 to 5 years relevant experience working in the finance and accounting functions, with at least 3 years audit experience, plus minimum 2 years commercial experience in multinational companies in the trading sector
- Good command of English (a minimum of Grade 6 or beyond) and Mandarin (Putonghua)
- Familiar with Microsoft office, SAP R/3
- Exposure to US GAAP and SOX compliance is a plus
