Head of Project Management


 Managing all service related projects (i.e. new machine installations, overhauls, retrofits, audits) from quotation to final acceptance

 Responsibility to achieve project targets, i.e. contract conditions, customer satisfaction, budgetary control, profitability and timelines

 Organisation, planning and validation of all maintenance activities and tasks in collaboration with the clients personnel

 Customer support, clarification of (customer) complaints, trouble shooting and pro-active communication

 Continuous interaction and enhancement of relations with customers

 Financial management and costing control of the projects on SAP

 Claim Management on SAP

 Spare and wear parts management in co-operation with LCS Centre

 Co-ordinate all communication between Angola,  Head Office and the company’s client

 Manage Key Accounts with various clients

 Travel frequently to specific customers and attend relevant project meetings

 Ensure that projects are effectively monitored, checked, documented and correctly verified

 Form an integral part of the Angola Project team

 Liaise with the company’s New Machine and IOS department

 Coordination and supervision of the assembly of the company’s machines at the customer, i.e. installation, commissioning and final acceptance

 Support of customers and service technicians regarding all service projects

 Supervisory role for service technicians

 The company’s specific knowledge transfer to the local Service department

 Foster and support interdepartmental cooperation within the LCS Center and Head office


Knowledge and experience

o Excellent knowledge in project management principals and techniques

o Knowledge of the Company’s Technology and its range of equipment

o Excellent financial management skills (including purchasing, stores/warehousing, materials distribution)

o Exposure to multi-disciplinary complex projects

o Sales business knowledge

o Strong verbal and written skills

o Strong interpersonal skills – team builder and participant


Qualifications and education required

o University Degree in Engineering

o 2-10 years in engineering experience

o Solid and proven technical background
