Job Description

Main goals and objectives:

The role of this position is to drive corporate communications including but not limited to:-

 Corporate communication concept / plan development and implementation

 Social media communication campaigns development and implementation

 Corporate message development, corporate profile updates and corporate publications

 Professional support for Group senior executives communication

 Corporate communication event management

 Support on issue and crisis management

 

 

 Your Responsibilities:

1. Corporate communication concept / plan development and implementation

 Develop Corporate Communication themes and key PR programs to enhance corporate reputation, corporate image and top management positioning

 Work with internal and external teams to implement major PR initiatives

 Coordinate with  PR teams for Corporate messages and key PR programs alignment

 Coordinate with PR teams for Corporate messages and key PR programs alignment

 

 

 

2. Social media communication campaigns development and implementation

 Work with digital/social PR agencies to develop annual social communication programs, including theme, strategies and key initiatives, to profile the company and brand among media/public

 Work with agencies to implement social communication campaigns

 Coordinate with PR teams for social PR programs alignment, including Group messages, communication channels etc, work as China key contact for Group global social communication works

 Coordinate with departments and  PR teams for social communication programs

3. Corporate message development and corporate profile updates

 Consolidate data and information so as to develop and update the company fact sheets, milestone files

 Develop press releases for key corporate initiatives and achievements

 Create and update the master corporate documents such as presentations, Q&As for the reference and communication

 Creation and production of company brochures

 Localization of Annual Reports

 

 

4. Professional support to senior management communication

 Identify and suggest communication/speech opportunities and recommend talking points for senior executives

 Provide professional insights, detail talking points and Q&As and on-site support for selected media interviews

 Monitor media closely and keep management abreast of important and sensitive news reports

 Prepare briefing books on key events, e.g. auto shows, ceremonies

 

 

5. Corporate communication event management

 Plan and manage Chinese media’s attendance and coverage of the Group annual press conference

 Lead the organization of corporate communications events, e.g. groundbreaking ceremony of new plants and green production workshop etc

 Coordinate top management attendance and communication at  corporate events

 

 

 

6. Support in corporate issue & crisis management

 Activate issue or sensitive topics monitoring, alerting and report on daily basis

 Support issue and crisis management, including but not limited to PR information package development, key stakeholder (internal/external) communications and follow up report

 

 

 

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

 University degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field

 Solid knowledge and experience in automotive industry and market

 Solid knowledge and know-how in social media campaign and communications

 

Personal skills:

 Excellent communication skills with ability to develop positive inter-personal relations

 Strong analysis, planning and organization skills

 Skilled and experienced in media communication and social media communication

 Solid experience in PR or brand communication

 Strong cross functional management skills

 Very rich writing and editing competence

 Strong sense of responsibility

 Strong sense of self-motivated

 Effective and efficient working habits

 Strategic / analytic thinking

 Presentation skills

 Pursue perfection into details on the daily workings

 

Working experience (in years):

 8+ years of experience in corporate communication and PR

 

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

 Chinese as native

 Proficient English / German would be an advantage

 Knowledge and experience on issue and crisis management
