Supplier Development Manager

Job Description

·In charge of project transition to China suppliers per the new work transfer process.
·Be able to create part-by-part transition plan, and ensure new suppliers develop product consistent with the quality and business requirements.
·Hit the project plan and hit required financial, quality and on-time delivery objectives.
·In charge of sourcing development including RFP/RFQ, Finance analysis, Supplier Assessment, Negotiation, Contract Management, and First Article Planning; Supplier Performance Tracking / Monitoring; Project Coordination of Cross-functional teams.
·Drive suppliers to meet internal customer’s delivery requirement, facilitate the review and hold problem-solving session together with BU and China regional office’s function team.
·Manage the daily work for the products on supplier site including resolving the technical and quality issues through China technical team.
·Provide the logistics support and suggestions to suppliers for raw material and component delivery as needed.
·Work with ACE team to drive on site continuous improvement including lean events which will reduce cost, deliver product on time and deliver zero defects.
·Support potential new supplier assessments and recommendation in China as needed.

·Minimum a university degree in engineering discipline.
·5+ years working experience
·Knowledge in manufacturing technology and special processes is a plus
·Knowledge of ACE or Six Sigma is a plus.
·Be proficient in listening, written and spoken English
·Good communication skills, quick learner, high-degree ethics and discipline, good personality and people's skills.
·Be task oriented and a self motivator with minimum supervision
