The purpose of this role is to develop value and distribution department and drive Commercial Solutions sales based on servers, storage, networking and software will work closely with the company’s General Manager and Sales Director to ensure Company's strategic objectives are achieved and will be expected to perform the following, but not limited to, tasks:
Sales Director Value add Distribution
The candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:
• Establish plans, budgets, and results measurements for Solution Department;
· allocate resources; review progress; make corrections for maximum operational efficiency for accomplishing department objectives
• Work closely with local and HQ management to create strategy, identify focused markets and customers, set up a sales plan and follow up on execution;
• Work closely with local vendors to set up mutual go-to-market strategy and execution;
• Identify and build relations with key customers (SI, VAR) in order to identify potential projects on early stage;
• Inventory management according to company`s KPI
• Delivering quarterly gross profit targets
The position will be only for Romania and permanently located in Bucharest. The person will have a team of currently 6 people and slowly perhaps develop it to 10. The major target will be towards gross profit contribution; other tasks will be assigned too, as the business will evolve.
• 5+ years’ work experience with a distributor or System Integrator
· IT Solution background is a must.
· Management position experience for group min 5-10 people at least 3 years
• Expert level in server & storage technologies, experience in server sales;
• Wide knowledge of local market, key players (SI, VAR), connections with big enterprise and government end-users
• Strategic thinking , strong planning and organizational skills
• Good English is highly preferred
