Job Description

Our client is a leading Supply Chain Partner. We provide C-Parts, covering everything from traditional fasteners to complicated processed and assembled components in different materials. They provide services to the industry worldwide with solutions in manufacturing, quality, sourcing and logistics.

Tasks:

  1. Keep connections with Sales and Purchasing team for new product requests;
  2. Contact BUFAB Sourcing Centre or Free Market suppliers for technical documents to assess the conformance of the unit manufactured;
  3. Manage and coordinate all customer communications relating to project quality to include responses, notices, and customer audits;
  4. Request a SQA if needed;
  5. Manage and perform production part approval process (PPAP) validations;
  6. Implement a comprehensive inspection process for incoming goods;
  7. Manage and support first article inspections reports;
  8. Facilitate root cause corrective actions to satisfy any customer concerns;
  9. Lead and participate in solving warranty and field problems;
  10. Interface with internal and external customers, present issues when necessary

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree;
  2. Some experience in similar role;
  3. Fully conversant with APQP and PPAP activities;
  4. Expected to be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings;
  5. Strong problem-solving skills;
  6. Excellent communicator across all levels;
  7. Skilled in using various measuring equipment;
  8. Familiar with the eight disciplines (8D) problem solving model;
  9. Experience in automotive aftermarket is a plus;
  10. Ability to make timely decisions and apply sound judgment;
  11. Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments simultaneously;
  12. Fluent English.
