Job Description

Our client is a well-known Bulgarian company providing services in hospitality industry (river cruises, tourist services). They are searching for experienced professional to fill in the position of:

HEAD OF SALES & MARKETING

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements creative Sales & Marketing strategy by analyzing current and future market and account trends
  • In charge of company hospitality policy including hotel/ship accommodation
  • Creates packages to suit the client needs which will create a ‘unique’ experience for customers
  • Ensures all correspondence with clients is prompt, timely and correct
  • Reviews working practices to ensure efficient handling of the business
  • Attends and represents company services at trade shows and conventions
  • Coordinates customer specifications with other departments and responds to customer needs to ensure a quality service experience
  • Makes sure that departments are fully aware of promotions and rates at all times
  • Works closely with key accounts (German tour operators)
  • Reports directly to the Board of Directors


Requirements:

  • Relevant University degree
  • Familiar with hospitality sales and marketing policies and selling techniques
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and oral
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel – business trips abroad (conferences, seminars, fairs, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and result driven individual, able to set targets and achieve them in a timely manner
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills together with the ability to train and develop the team
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.)
