Regional Sales - FMCG

Job Description

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for directing the Sales Operations, aimed at ensuring that the widest possible range is handled by the relevant trade at the most efficient cost, in order to achieve the sales goals and targets of the company.

1. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

BROADEN SALES BASE

Actively seek new business

new key accounts;

new sales channels 

new markets. 

 

ASSIST DISTRIBUTOR’S SALES TEAMS TO GROW SALES WITHIN THEIR BUSINESS

Initiate and implement promotional campaigns

Create focus and excitement around brands

 Assist with marketing support and POS

SELLING CORRECT PRODUCTS TO CORRECT CLIENTELLE

Monitor performance of products at customer level.

Maximize current stockists to list new lines

Check orders vs listings

 

 

 

BI-MONTHLY REVIEWS WITH NSM

Review brand/sales performance per region vs targets

Review brand promotional activity vs effective ROI

Check promo material

THE FORMULATION OF AN ANNUAL REGIONAL SALES PLAN

The formulation of an annual strategic sales plan

Presentation of this plan to the NSM

Integration into the company’s sales plan

Implementation of this plan within the time objectives

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Should have a relevant Sales Management degree or at least 5 years general experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with exposure to Field Management, Sales Planning and Sales Administration.
