Training and Development

Conduct training analysis in line with budget preparations

Analysis to be conducted annually

Strategic training plan to be compiled 60 days after analysis

Compile training reports for H/O

Accurate reports submitted monthly

Accurate reports submitted monthly

Compile annual WSP reports

Accurate reports submitted annually (April)

Follow up on payments due

Conduct induction session

Induction with first 2 days of employment

Training registers to be filed by day 5 of employment

External Training

Co-ordinate training interventions with input from HOD's

Complete training process, ensuring admin is up to date

Internal Training

Design training interventions

Facilitate training interventions & admin is up to date

Run effective learnership programme

90% of learners to graduate (consideration to resignations etc)

Submit invoices to SETA as per MoA and ensure timeous tranche payments

Administration

BEE Certification

Ensure certification by expiry date

Distribute certifcate within 2 days after receipt

EE Reporting

Accurate reports submitted by due date

100% accurate and up to date records at all times

Recordkeeping

Every month

100% accurate and up to date records at all times

Leave Records & IR Tracker

Every Month (1st Friday of month)

100% accurate and up to date records at all times

Payroll Input

Submit to Management Accountant on 18th of every month

100% accurate

Monthly Recons & Payovers

Reconciliations completed by 6th of each month

No outstanding items at month end

Supervision of Wage Clerk

Assist with queries

Back-up for Wage Clerk

Software - Payroll & Attendance

Resolve set-up and operational queries

Resolve set-up and operational queries

Personnel

Disciplinary Enquiries

Ensure all disciplinary enquiries are finalised within 48 hours

All records to be filed at all times

Pension & Medical Aid Queries

All queries to be resolved within 5 working days

No outstanding queries at month end

Personal Touch Committee

Attending meetings & participate in projects

Attending meetings & participate in projects

Staff Clinic

Ensure clinic is operational as per agreement

Clinic to be resourced at all times

Recruitment

Source & recommend shortlist for interviews

Shortlist to be recommended 2 weeks after closing date

All candidates informed timeously  at all times

Screen all candidates

Screening to be completed 48 hours after shortlist recommendations

References to be done in writing and candidate profiles submitted 2 days before interview

Conduct Interviews

Interviews to be conducted 48 hours after screening

Hiring decision within 48 hours after interview
