Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:
·Responds to customer calls; Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots system problems via telephone or at customer site;
·Performs installation, repair, upgrades and preventive maintenance on installed system at customer sites;
·Maintains appropriate tools and keeps on hand and as required;
·Travels as required for the purpose of performing service activities at customer sites;
·Update the know-how knowledge about the company′s products and improve the service to customer;
·Prepare updates and maintain accurate logs, equipment performance data, service records, parts usage documentation and diagnostic update;
·Serve as a point of contact between customers and engineering team; communicate customer requirements, system performance, and reliability issues;
·Help the service administrator to maintain a clear record of the part inventory and parts being sold;
·Run customer demonstrations and samples at local facilities;
·Ensure local stock is kept up-to-date and coordinate shipment and return of parts;

Requirements:
·Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical or Automation;
·At least 2 years working experience;
·Prior experience in Capital Equipment or Electro-Optics is advantageous;
·Self-driven and able to work independently, with excellent interpersonal skills;
·Good communication skills in English and Chinese
