My client is a specialist manufacturer, employing over 20,000 people globally, with sales in excess of $7 Billion. They are in a position to recruit a Project Engineer - EMEA within their global engineering team. There are a large number of international projects underway and I am very confident that for the right person this would be a great career move.
The organisation can be flexible on base location in the UK - The role would involve travel across the various sites around the World.
As a member of the Engineering group, you will provide expertise and practical input to the development and delivery of the plant and site infrastructure development projects across the E.M.E.A. regions.
15 Produce high level plant and site development proposals to meet commercial or operational strategic business objectives.
25 Produce costed, specified, project plans for the delivery of capital engineering projects, plant and equipment projects and building projects on sites in the E.M.E.A. region.
10 Manage the proposed projects through the capital project approval process, answering questions as raised.
20 Manage the delivery, to plan and within allocated budgets, of allocated capital engineering projects, plant and equipment projects and building projects.
10 Identify, set up contracts with, and manage, sub-contractors working to deliver projects.
10 Ensure the safety and value of the projects through structured application of project processes, good engineering practices and the application of structured design reviews including HAZOPS.
5 Participate in confidential Engineering, Operations and cross functional strategic planning forums and project groups.
5 Handle and give counsel on environmental issues concerning projects.
