Procurement Demand Manager

Job Description

Our International, market leading client is looking to hire Procurement / Demand Manager to join their site based in Liverpool. The main aspects of the role would be to:

Main Purpose of Job

Execute strategic sourcing activities from development and implementation to the management of agreements and co-manufacturers/suppliers.  Ensure that a fully integrated sales and demand planning process is in place to harmonise demand optimisation.

Key Outputs:

Undertake commercial assessments of suppliers, manage relationships, track performance and communicate performance feedback

Assess and mitigate risks relevant to the procurement functional area, and conduct annual risk assessment leading cross-functional risk management team

Deliver satisfaction to internal customers. Working cross functionally to deliver projects across the business

Define the stock policy, validating with suppliers and procurement team that proper lead times, min/max levels and batch sizes are defined, ensuring these align with the stock policy. Implement a review process to ensure these are reviewed on a continuous basis to optimise the supply chain

Develop and monitor KPI's collaborating with stakeholders, to deliver value and results to the business.  Set up and support monthly reporting, cost savings tracker, financial analysis related to spend and suppliers.

Develop and maintain supplier agreements, contracts and undertake contract management process.

Ensure that the manufacturing plan, demand plan and manufacturing capabilities are able to meet future growth expectations.  Ensuring the preparation and maintenance of the forecasts and the preparation of the demand plan and MRP with the Procurement team and Sales and Marketing
