Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·         Partner with individual functions across regions to ensure timely and accurate submissions for the rolling forecast

·         ¾ Provide detailed monthly variance analysis of forecast vs. Budget for individual functions and entities

·         ¾ Handle monthly uploads of functional forecasts into appropriate cost centers / entities / locations

·         ¾ Support monthly Headcount forecasting process

·         ¾ Support monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis for the Business

·         ¾ Help to educate Business stakeholders on proper forecasting and accruals practices

·         ¾ Support Accounting team to ensure proper accruals on a monthly basis

·         ¾ Coordinate and support requests for data analysis from our functional areas

·         ¾ Partner with Corporate & Functional Finance team in North America to deliver on companywide processes throughout the year

·         ¾ Support various reporting requests for the Shared Service Center utilizing Financial Systems


Minimum Qualifications

·         Degree in Quantitative subject (e.g. Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering)

·         ¾ Prior experience working in FP&A function

·         ¾ Knowledge of Financial Systems (Hyperion, BPC, Oracle)

·         ¾ Advanced knowledge of Excel (array functions, Pivot Tables)

·         ¾ Proficiency in MS office (Excel, PPT)

 

Preferred Qualifications
 

·         Strong aptitude for creating efficient and streamlined processes

·         ¾ Proven record of automating manual tasks through expert knowledge of Financial Systems & Excel

·         ¾ Experience manipulating, organizing and analyzing large sets of data with ability to generate concise reports for the business

·         ¾ Ability to turn one-off customer requests into automated reporting for the business

·         ¾ Understanding of the Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry

·         ¾ Exceptional analytical, presentation and communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders

·         ¾ Demonstrated leadership attributes and ability to successfully drive results

·         ¾ Demonstrated strong project management skills with ability to address detailed operational issues

·         ¾ Demonstrated ability and willingness to multi task in a fast paced environment and to prioritize accordingly

·         ¾ Ability to work independently and in team environment with similar outcomes

·         ¾ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively Business partner across levels
