Home Office (EMEA) or based in one of the offices in the UK, Netherlands or Germany.

With a broad portfolio of speciality and commodity resins for industrial, performance, protective, automotive, wood, decorative coatings, this publicly listed company is experiencing steady growth.

Global Key Account Manager

The global key account manager will be responsible for one of the largest global customers, one of the world's leading formulators and manufacturers of paints and coatings,  and will be representing the complete product portfolio.

The incumbent will coordinate the global KAM efforts in cooperation with his/her dotted line reports.
A challenging and influential senior sales position that requires frequent traveling and agility at CXO level.

Requirements:

  • A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering , polymer science or similar combined with international sales experience AND/OR a BA degree combined with substantial experience in the speciality chemicals industry
  • At least 7 years of experience in specialty chemical sales (coating resins preferred)
  • A drive for results
  • The proven ability to farm and grow large accounts
  • Organizational agility
  • Able to communicate and act at CXO level
  • Willingness to travel 50%, partially global
