Technical Manager

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
For development and build out of services for MEDICAL DEVICES, the Technical Manager for the new French facility will:

Have the overall technical responsibility to be recognized in the French market and ensuring that our Medical Devices services are carried out in a harmonized way and in accordance with the medical technical requirements

 

Specifically These Responsibilities Are To:

  • Ensure a continuous level of technical expertise required to execute the services in a qualified, reliable and consistent basis
  • Being responsible of training and building a team of electro-medical engineers in France
  • Being responsible for obtaining accreditations in the France lab and finding the solution for our team to help customers in obtaining CE mark and worldwide solutions via our global network
  • Representing our client in IEC, Technical Committees and Technical Conferences
  • Linked with the Quality Management Team

 

Requirements:

  • Biomedical engineering/electronics education. Electrical engineer is acceptable if strong profiling in biomedical instrumentation was done after university
  • Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience to perform product safety testing of medical devices according to IEC60601-1 standard
  • Knowledge of medical products safety standards and conformity assessment procedures for medical devices in Europe  (other countries is a plus  with a focus on French market)
  • French fluent speaking with good communication of written and spoken English

 

Skills:

  • Relevant experience in technical operations within the areas of medical and laboratory devices, site assessment, technical trainings.
  • Able to cooperate effectively with multidisciplinary and multinational teams
  • Fluent in English
  • Takes initiative
  • Team player able to work well with the global medical team

 

Job will include:

  • Actively to participate in the our Med Device growth strategy
  • Technical meetings with clients to determine test requirements
  • Testing of medical devices in lab and on site
  • Preparing test reports according to CB Scheme "IECEE CB Scheme" requirements
  • Training other engineers to perform testing
  • Be active in our international team of medical experts to discuss/help/get help from other colleagues
