Our client is a global leading designer and manufacturer of automatic vending machines. It designs and produces a diverse technologically-advanced, high-quality integrated portfolio of automatic merchandising equipments for hot and cold beverages, snacks and foods. For them we are currently in search of young professionals or fresh graduates in Sales Engineering segment to be embedded as Costumer Relations Manager (m/f) for their local office in the Frankfurt / Darmstadt area.

Your Tasks

Understand the business of the current prospect and perform outbound sales calls in a business to business scenario

- Build and maintain relationships with these prospects/customers, become a consultative seller versus a transactional seller

- Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals

- Build a solid base of core customers among priority B and C accounts to garner repeat sales and lessen the load of the Area Sales Managers

- Provide quotations and book orders accurately and within customer expectations and process customer orders accurately and promptly ensure all details are applied accurately to the Company MRP system

- Respond to customer commercial and standard technical queries promptly

- Ability to identify multiple characteristics of an account during a single conversation

- Provide a positive, world-class phone experience to customers and field personnel serving as a company contact regarding orders and inquiries while up-selling when opportunities arise

- Be a trusted member of the territory team for any and all needs of the team; work with territory team to assist field personnel on issues regarding machine orders, parts orders, deadlines etc

- Follow-up on Telemarketing campaigns which include communications by making contact with customers to obtain feedback and opportunities

- Understand and contribute to the Sales Excellence business system and actively contribute and maintain (SQDC)

- Participate in ongoing improvement by making suggestion on improvements for the inside sales process

- Participate in Kaizen events to dramatically improve processes through quick and radical change

- Ensure technical knowledge and understanding of available products, systems and services is maintained at the highest level

- To carry out any other activities as and when required


Your Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field ideally and around 2 years experience from internship or working student activities or a combination of schooling and equivalent experience in a Sales Engineering or Commercial environment

- A successful track record with telephone-based sales

- Proficiency in Sales Excellence selling skills

- Ideally, experience in automatic vending machines

- Proficient with MS Office, and web-based applications

- Excellent written and verbal German and English language skills

- Additional languages an advantage
