Business Development Officer

Job Description

What we are looking for:
The role requires an astute commercial operator, with knowledge of the digital space, payment industry and IT systems, willing to get their hands dirty to aggressively grow adoption of our product as we rollout in the GH and subsequent markets.

• Commercially astute and able to demonstrate a highly numerate and analytical approach
• Excited to understand the end to end economics of electronic payment solutions and the value chain
• Able to operate at strategic, tactical and operational levels
• Hungry and show an entrepreneurial spirit and constantly challenge the status quo
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and operating in a fast paced environment
• Somebody who thinks expansively, creatively and inherently understands digital economy
Key accountabilities:
• Take full ownership of the customer proposition
• Developing the programme and delivering growth of customer base to ensure increased rates of acquisition, retention and engagement
• Effectively evaluate and execute partnership strategy
• Manage day to day operations and third party relationships
• Work closely with Product Development to scope the evolution of the app and payment processing technologies to enhance the offering and solve operational issues
• Work efficiently with the wider team to evolve cross sell strategy in order to drive growth of our other Products
