Job Description

As Head of Operations, your main responsibilities will be to develop and drive the logistics company, through operational and strategic actions. You will directly hire and manage your internal operational team. You will be supported by a world-class team that has opened ventures throughout Africa and can bring the experience and tools to ensure your success. 

Key responsibilities: 

o    Implementing best practice fulfillment processes along the operational chain.

o    Defining proper capacity planning to ensure surges in orders from clients are handled in a timely manner.

o    Creating adequate team structure and managing various operational teams.

o    Recruiting and managing the fulfillment team.

o    Delivering measurable results linked to your business.

o    Ensuring regular reporting of your actions and results.

o    Managing the team’s efficiency and cohesion.

o    Ensuring the smooth fulfillment of the items sold.

o    Ensuring the quality of the measurement of selected KPIs hourly, daily, weekly and monthly.

o    Scaling the team and the processes to support the growth of the company.

o    Managing a team of 25+ people including Riders and dispatchers.

o    Recruiting adequate profiles to join the team.

o    Constantly improving and developing new internal processes.

o    Making fast decisions in order to solve daily emergencies.

o    Producing regular reporting on the operations performance.

o    Coordinating with customer service to ensure optimum communication to our customers.

o    Managing the consistency and quality of the inventory.

o    Creating an unparalleled environment for your team’s development and happiness.

o    High IT literacy-Must be excel proficient-Must be android phone proficient.

  • Strong entrepreneurial skills, leadership and drive
  •  Impeccable communication skills
  •  Ability to negotiate and communicate in flawless English (Ability to speak any other local language will be a plus)

  • Experience in multinational environment
