Job Description

~~Our client is a fashion retailer who operates a growing number of stores all around the world. The firm designs clothing, for men, women and children, managing own brands of cosmetics etc.
There is a need for and enthusiastic and experienced

PR Manager (fashion)

to join the local team. The job holder would mainly implement centrally planned activities and campaigns according to global guidelines but has to be self-starter, a creative mind. He/she would build brand, activate selling and support linked activities in collaboration with the regional marketing and PR management plus the local sales organization and the visual department.
The role reports directly to Regional Manager, has no subordinates currently.

a) Manage the local communications plan and the communications budget;
b) Initiate discussions with department staff, lead internal communications;
c) Take responsibility for the company’s local media picture, including having an in-depth knowledge of the local media landscape (not just in Budapest);
d) Manage and build local media relations;
e) Act as main local spokesperson;
f) Manage PR agency relations (purchase/contract, manage and evaluate);
g) Manage proactively company related news like openings, new collections and events connected to the company externally as well as internally in accordance with set messages;

a) 3+ years’ experience in similar position;
b) Experience in retail/apparel world;
c) Solid knowledge about the local media landscape;
d) Experience in working with media, both proactively and reactively;
e) Having a well established network within main fashion and corporate media in the market;
f) Ability and knowledge in writing both for internal and external purposes (information texts, press releases, articles, analyses etc);
g) Passion for fashion;
h) Fluent in English, native Hungarian, both oral and in writing;
