Job Description


Our client is a Pharma Multinational Company based in Centre Italy

He or she directly reports to the Corporate Engineering Director. 


The function supports the Corporate Engineering Director in supervising all technical and maintenance activities of The Group production sites, besides dealing with the ongoing and future investments. He or she is also in charge of the plant-engineering and technical aspects related to the industrialization of new products in the involved production sites.  He or she monitors the manufacturing performances of the Group production sites, with the special purpose of analysing any technical problems, of developing the relevant optimisation proposals and standardizing the procedures connected with the technical and maintenance aspects. Finally, as far as the operational aspects are concerned, he or she supports the Corporate Engineering Director in managing strategic projects.



In cooperation with the Engineering managers of the foreign sites:

- monitors the trend of maintenance costs, trying when possible to standardize frequency and technical approach according to the kind of assistance needed and to the reference suppliers.

- evaluates the performance trend of the production and packaging lines, mostly of oral solids departments, consequently working out a list of possible corrective measures and monitoring the medium- term effects of such measures.

- supervises key processes with the aim of standardizing them from a technical point of view, aiming at increasing the number of positive results.

He or she constantly carries out a technical comparison among the various sites both from a managing and from a manufacturing point of view.

On the basis of the technical notes of Technology Transfer, he or she defines the necessary equipment for the industrialization on new products / new productions, defining URS and relationships with suppliers and sharing the choice of the equipment with the manufacturing sites.

He or she gives operational support to the Engineering companies involved by the Corporate management in specific strategic projects related both to the infrastructural part and to the process equipment.


Aged 35-45

Five-year degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanics)

Fluent English both spoken and written

Outstanding qualities of leadership and authority

Good relationship skills

Deep attention to economic factors

Experience in the pharmaceutical field and particularly in oral solids (production and packaging), available to travel
