BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PHARMA/HEALTHCARE

Our Client is a full service agency focused on medical educational products for the healthcare community. We are responsible for the recruitment of a:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, based in Rome

She/He will be responsible for developing profitable new business, selling to pharmaceutical companies in Italy, ensuring satisfactory fulfilment, and meeting all agreed sales targets and profitability objectives.

The BDM will need to build and expand contacts and to develop effective client relationships within the region.

Essential:

Ø  Educated to graduate or postgraduate level, preferably in life sciences or related subject

Ø  Extensive experience of selling within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or equivalent, in particular selling solutions into Pharmaceutical and / or allied health markets.

Ø  Understanding of the full range of editorial medical communication products and services, or similar products offered by competitor companies.

Ø  IT literate, perfect mastery of MS Office (especially Word, Powerpoint and Excel). Fully proficient with digital devices and social media

Ø  Fluent spoken and written English (B1/B2)

Ø  Flexibility to travel at least 50% (especially to Rome/Tuscany based clients).

Preferred:

Ø  Managing an active portfolio of clients preferably based in the Lazio and Toscana regions (Rome, Florence, Pisa).
