Business Development Manager

London - Permanent, Full Time

The Opportunity:

Sell our client’s portfolio of products and services to new name customers to achieve and exceed associated sales targets. The role is crucial to the company's growth plans, as the focus is to signed new names business in the UK. The remit encompasses the end to end sales cycle, from identifying leads progressing opportunities and signing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Signing new logo business

Delivering signed business with a value equal to or above that established by the Company

1.        Demonstrate accurate forecasting within the company SFDC system

2.        Self generate prospects at senior level within target organisations

3.        Achieving monthly Critical Success Factors around: conversations, meetings, proposals and signed contracts

4.        Track all sales activity in line with company best practice/ guidance

5.        Build and maintain sales pipeline through a variety of sources

6.        Maintain customer database, SalesForce.com

7.       Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.

 

Key Skills & Attributes:

Demonstrable commercial experience

New Business Sales Experience

Previous examples of exceeding Sales targets

Ability to efficiently use MS Office suite

Experience of selling within the IT Service industry

Analytic approach to forecasting and qualification

Strong motivation to succeed

Excellent time management and organisation

Must be able to learn the use of proprietary systems

Strong communication and IT fluency

Reliable and Conscientious

Flexibility with travel

Possess a valid UK Driving licence
