Presales Consultant   - West London  £50k to £60k Base + £25k OTE

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Presales Consultant with experience of selling into the telecommunications wholesale market.

The Role

The Senior Pre Sales Consultant is responsible for providing and costing the network solution to meet the Client’s requirement whilst working closely with other members of the design, operations and implementation teams.

The role is very much customer facing, you will need to be able to communicate complex technical solutions at board level to customers whilst also being able to deal directly with the Clients technical team.

Skills:

  • At least 3 years proven track record in a technical pre-sales function.
  • Strong technical ability covering as a minimum WAN technologies and at least one of      SECURITY, CONVERGENCE or APPLICATION AWARE NETWORKING.
  •  Preferably be Degree qualified and experienced to the level of CCNP OR CCDP.

Key competencies:

  •  Intimate knowledge of the telecommunications market place and landscape, including  products and commercial positioning.
  •  Excellent interpersonal and customer presentation skills.
  •  Ability to quickly understand and position technically and commercially new products and  services.

Excellent understanding within an International environment of:

  • Designing Customer Data solutions for the wholesale telecommunications market.
  •  MPLS, IPsec, Routing, xDSL, ·Network Security, ·Data Centre Hosting, Remote Access.
