Family Office Asset Manager

Job Description

The main objectives of the role are to supervise the upkeep of the real estate and transport assets of the family, to review project management of renovation and construction projects, to acquire furniture and fittings per family requests, to inventorise jewellery and antiques and ensure adequate insurance, to arrange charters of planes/yachts and to overview the staff in the properties, yacht and plane.

CEO and Director and as necessary Principal & his family

Work closely with family members and their respective Personal Assistants, as well as with house managers and management of the family office.

Purpose of the job

To be a member of the FO  Services team servicing the needs of the family office

The CEO may designate other specific areas of responsibility within the family office as necessary.

Including but not limited to:

Residences of the family (currently 7 on 3 continents)

Art Collection

Antiques Collection

Jewelery Collection

Personal items

Location

Based at Luxembourg office – travel required

Job Description

Responsibilities and tasks:

Private Asset Management

 

Including but not limited to

Coordination of House Managers, Aircraft Crew and Yacht Crew to assist with daily management of each location, including:

·         Approving supply orders (up to defined limits) or coordinate approval by family of supplies

·         Approving various repairs and maintenance (up to defined limits) or coordinate approval by family

·         Moving of furniture and art between locations and organising insurance from moves– per family instruction

·         Provide advice and support in all matters concerning the running of residences (staffing, HR management, reporting, cash management)

Coordination with family members in the management of their private assets:

·         Inventory management of all assets, management of the assets database

·         Ordering new furniture and soft furnishings – per family instruction

·         Arranging valuations and inventories; monthly/yearly maintenance.

·         Budgets for running and maintenance, approve fundings and reports (working alongside Finance)

Assist the CEO of the FO in insurance matters for residence and private assets.

Assist the family in case of lending, disposal or acquisition of new valuable items, proactively suggest in the way the personal assets are maintained and preserved.

·         Proactive project management for the completion of new residences, yacht and planes, or renovations of existing residences, including management of external providers, follow-up of contracts, approval of fundings and financial reports.

 

Family Office Interaction

Regular participation in family office meetings and assistance to other family office teams as required
