National Professional Channel Manager

Job Description

5.1. Business Development (Sales and Services)

Responsible for the distribution of all the Hospital grade products in India, the goal is to constantly develop the market and increase market shares.

Identify business opportunities, improve the numerical distribution and increase revenues. Assess and improve the efficiency of the distributor network for Hospital Grade Pumps.

Create a plan and secure successful execution of annual sales and service plans and respective forecasts, projections and budget.

Provide clear mapping of existing and potential placement of pumps, usage, upgradation opportunities, reusable sales, and evaluate conversion to Personal Use Pumps.

Manage tenders from hospitals along with our distributors, conduct negotiations with business partners.

Facilitate product usage with customers/users and provide excellent customer service and repair for Hospital grade products thanks to a product and application expertise.

Develop and arrange customer workshops, exhibitions, conferences, education programmes and trainings.

Maintain and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and representatives of India and non-governmental organizations.

Develop and implement value added services (i.e. rental).

Define and enhance sales processes and KPIs to measure efficiency.

Provide market observation and procurement of documents and products on competitors.

5.2. Reporting, collaboration and management

Regular reporting and communication to the management team and key stakeholders. Build business cases and best practices and share with the team.

Comply with management and regulatory regulations.

Day to day management and management of the Professional Channel team. Recruit and train the team.

Manage team performance with setting MBOs and targets and personal development plans and regular reviews.

Work collaboratively with shared functions (Education Manager, Marketing Manager, Operations team) to successfully develop and implement strategy plans and tactical initiatives.

Work collaboratively with other functions (National Retail Sales Manager, Health Care India team, General Manager, support team in Swiss headquarters etc.).

Attend the international Group meetings, provide inputs and market data for new products.

The Ideal Candidate

Age (no preference)

Professional experience

At least 10 years experience in a Healthcare function with a proven track record in sales and/or marketing, strong knowledge of Hospital Business/Medical Devices

A minimum of 5 years of managing people, to include at least 3 years in the same position Proven retail-experience in India is a plus, ideally in the pharmacy channel

Experience in building effective relationships with key clients and opinion leaders
