Job Description


Ÿ   Key contact with customer

Ÿ   Provide Monthly & Annual performance management of your responsible contracts;

Ÿ   Ensure contracts with customers remain valid and that the company holds key insurance documents with those relevant customers;

Ÿ   Provide guidance to team members at operational/ contractual and strategic levels as required;

Ÿ   Ensure that contract performance remains actively focused on assessing areas of business for cost reduction/ efficiency gains or potential additional business areas from existing customer contracts;

Ÿ   To provide contract management and coordination of the key account, ensuring that service deliveries are met in line with the goals/objectives of the customer.  This is done by providing front line customer service, service requests, and liaising with service providers to maintain service level;

Ÿ   Work with logistics coordinators to sustain service delivery for contracts;

Ÿ   Lead in the process of developing improvement initiatives for contract management systems and procedures;

Ÿ   Assist contract administrator with developing financial management tools for reporting account performance of contract;

Ÿ   Actively support and manage the development of new supply chain solutions to extend product delivery to existing customers;

Ÿ   Participate in client forecasting and disseminate relative information to services providers to assist with planning;

Ÿ   Strive to constantly seek value in client relationships and search for additional business opportunities;

Ÿ   Expand and extend existing customer relationships and work with Business Development to develop new customer relationships.


Ÿ   Fiscally accountable, required to act within financial budget limits & deliver returns on activity that are comparable to company requirements;

Ÿ   Daily liaison with customers to maintain contract operational efficiency and deliver customer requirements within stated KPI’s;

Ÿ   Ensure that contracts with customers remain up-to-date and valid;

Ÿ   Maintain a standardized contract management methodology;

Ÿ   Maintenance and management of an issues log relative to the operation of contract;

Ÿ   Identification, delivery and tracking of cost savings initiatives;

Ÿ   Performance Reporting and analysis of supply chain, and individual service providers in accordance with agreed Key Performance Indicators;

Ÿ   Seek process improvement areas and document initiatives;

Ÿ   Support the quality process and ensure that SIP tools are used for continuous improvement;

Ÿ   Seek prompt payment of the invoices and resolution of invoice queries;

Ÿ   Reporting on financial and operational performance of contracts whilst initiating necessary corrective action;

Ÿ   Play a role in the development of tailored logistics solutions to meet individual client needs;

Ÿ   Grow revenue with existing and potential customers by offering additional/ new services to customers;

Ÿ   Support Business Performance in initiatives with suppliers concerns and in sharing knowledge with Logistics Coordinators;

Ÿ   Provide sufficient support and guidance to Logistic Coordinators to ensure that operational tasks are completed in a timely manner.
