  1. Develop 3-5 years Brand / Category Strategy and Plan to support brand / category growth
    • Propose brand portfolio and architecture to fulfill 3-5 years brand / category goal
    • Able to combine NPD options from global menu and regional development to formulate the brand’s portfolio strategy
    • Plan and execute 3 years’ NPD plan with on time and quality delivery (including margin, CSFOL, cost, etc.)
    • Able to reflect risk and propose options / solutions to management to manage the situation
    • Able to understand and review inline vs. new contribution to business. Develop and execute activation plan to support
    • Plan and execute IMI plans (quali / quanti) & concept test (writing& testing) to support brand / category strategy
    • All of the above to get management and market alignments, to be shared and aligned at RBWs / monthly integration calls
  2. Demonstration of leadership to fulfill the brand / category strategy
    • Lead strategic discussion with cross functional team at NPD meetings, pre-gate meetings and gate meetings. Responsible for making decisions that align with the agreed strategy. Measured by quality of execution and also by 360 feedback
    • Major communication with global team (e.g., via integration calls) to ensure regional strategy and needs are being reflected which supports / flag concerns to Category Director in CLT discussion
    • Major communication with commercial markets (e.g., via integration calls) to agree and confirm NPD launch timing. Able to flag risk and make proposal to resolve the situation or when disagreement arise for category director to make decision
    • Lead R&D/ GPI in delivery of NPDs, including management of R&D points, briefing, desired claims, and able to judge and make proposal when there is constraint in costs / technology. Able to provide options and recommendation to category directors for final decision making
    • Lead and brief creative team on creative plan and execution. Control creative budget by quarter, spending should be within +/-15% vs. plan
  3. Team Leader with practice level of coaching skill

Job Requirements/Qualifications


  • Indicate the minimum level of formal/academic training required for this position. A person with less academic knowledge would have insufficient knowledge to perform the job.
  • University level (MBA preferred) with proficient English, both verbal and written

  • Minimum 5-6 years brand marketing experience
  • Prefer with NPD and product introduction / launch experience
  • Prefer background in fast moving consumer goods or beauty business
  • University level (MBA preferred) with proficient English, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in project management experience with cross functional team
  • Strong team management and communication skills
  • Strong logical and analytical mind
  • Good sense in gaining Consumer Insights and Market/ Competitor developments
  • Capabilities in application of Microsoft software, excel, powerpoint
