Enterprise Application Technical Architect
The Role
The position will be responsible for all technical aspects of design, architecture and delivery of solutions for medium to large supply chain transformation programs for a world class customer base.
Key Tasks
- Leads a team of technical consultants to deliver technical tasks on projects on time and to high quality
- Leads and guides project team to understand and help define project technical requirements from technical specifications
- Diagnoses business and technical expectations on a project
- Provides guidance and technical support to the project team in quality assurance, design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, operations consulting, troubleshooting, system testing, programming
- Works with project stakeholders to effectively estimate project timelines
- Works with project management to provide timely, appropriate level of communication with respect to the work assigned, and works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Understands and is experienced with the technical requirements for the product line assigned
- Understands product suite so as to convey relationships and integration touch-points to the customer
- Escalates issues that may have negative schedule or financial impact
Additional Responsibilities:
- Communicates solution and database interaction as it relates to the system architecture specific to the project needs
- Provides expertise on performance tuning techniques and assists other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises
- Provides direction to customer during implementation as it pertains to the product performance, support and maintenance
- Conducts technical analysis sessions with clients and the project team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develops technical solutions to meet those needs
- Provides technical expertise on development projects
The Person
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related discipline (BEng/BSc MSc MTech /MBA)
- PMP certified
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant similar experience in a consulting environment, preferably on business transformation, ERP type of engagements
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in requirements, resolution and quality assurance Proven ability to identify potential problems/outstanding tasks, and find solutions Business level fluency in English language skills, both spoken and written Desirable
- Fluency in Russian a definite plus
- Up to 75% of travel may be required
