The Antal office in Luxembourg specialises in Finance and Administration but also covers IT, Human Resources and General Management across all industries. 

The managing partner, George Mathers, has had 30 years’ experience within multinational companies in various senior and executive level Finance and Operational roles throughout Europe and the US in Professional Practice, as well as Industry and Commerce, ranging from external and internal audit, controllership, governance, M&A, business partnership, shared services, consulting, planning and raising Finance for companies. Having worked in six countries in several industries, he has a wide network of both companies and candidates.

The office specialises in mid to senior level recruitment worldwide, principally, but not exclusively, covering industry and commerce.

George Mathers is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of international Finance experience in multinational and Fortune 500 companies including Dematic, SES, United States Gypsum, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Digital Equipment Corporation (Hewlett Packard). He has held various senior Finance roles such as Group Controller and Regional CFO with small to medium sized companies (c. €100 m to €1 bn) and has worked for several multibillion, multinational companies in various leadership roles. He possesses excellent knowledge of companies’ requirements in virtually all aspects of Finance and has a good command of Dutch and French languages as well as basic German. He is based in Luxembourg and has worked in the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, US and Switzerland.


Monique Grosse has had a successful career in the HR Industry in Germany and the United Kingdom with 15 years of recruitment experience for IT-positions for senior and top-managers, especially for the Computer & Network Security Industry.  She has expertise in European employment law, payroll, restructuring and contracting. Her last position was as Human Resources Manager for Extreme Networks in Newbury, England.  Prior to that, she was with Cyber Chart in Germany and, among her achievements, was the hiring of 35 people in a very short time frame. Monique focuses on IT, HR and Finance positions. She speaks German, French and English and is based in Trier.

 


Christian Niggel is an Expert Finance Professional with an experience of 35 years in Banking, Holding, Funds, Private Equity, Trust and Real Estate business environments.  Christian held Leading Financial positions in companies such as HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt, Commerzbank, State Street Bank, WE Finance & Services and Misys Europe S.A.  Due to his versatile experience and knowledge, he understands companies requirements to assess, develop and assist them in mostly all type of Recruitments. He is based in Luxembourg and is fluent in Luxembourgish, French, German and English. 

 


Renaud Barbier is a seasoned business executive with about 20 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services. His broad expertise is especially recognized in the areas of Asset Management and Private Banking. During the first part of his career he worked as a business consultant and product manager for leaders in the front and middle office solutions market. He then helped banks to design and implement dedicated solutions answering to their needs. Since then he works as a management consultant committed to the Banking and Financial Services industry.  Renaud speaks fluently English and French and is improving on Russian. Based in Luxembourg, he has lived and worked in France, Belgium, Finland and Switzerland.
