Our ambition is to keep expanding our network over six continents. At Antal, we believe strongly in our entrepreneurial ethos and we’re always looking for ways to optimise and strengthen our position in the global market. With that in mind, watch this space, as there could be more exciting changes on the horizon! We are relentless in our development of the Antal International culture – this involves the sharing of information, knowledge and experience between our offices and staff around the globe.

In 2008 we sold Antal Russia to a private Equity Firm Englefield Capital (Now Bregal) and in  2011 Antal acquired Parkside Recruitment which has two offices in the UK. This strategic acquisition immediately increased the customer base and strengthens Antal’s presence in the Accounting & Finance and Office Professionals recruitment.

In June 2011 we took the opportunity to expand in Poland with offices in Wroclaw and Krakow to better service the client demand in that area - a location rich in Information Technology clients. Then in 2013 we sold our Polish operations to the  RPO and personal outsourcing company, Work Service, which continues to trade under our name and has access to our global network across 30 countries. After the deal Antal Poland opened new offices in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In  2012 we acquired a stake in a domestic Chinese recruitment firm which enabled us to broaden our client base within mainland China to include more government-owned and fully domestic companies to further extend our reach and allow us to grow into Tier 2 cities in China. A year later we signed a deal with Career International, a leading recruitment total solution provider in China. As a results of this deal we got access to the network of 30 offices across China and our China branch keeps Antal name and independent operation.

We opened our first office in Mexico in 2013, which covers all Central America regions. We’re also planning to open more offices in South America where economies are large, sophisticated and systemic. This is a region with a very young population, which provides a good environment for innovative, cutting edge business practice.

In 2015 Antal aquires the Milton Keynes-based recruitment business Smart Moves to drive further growth through access to a larger operational infrastructure, along with a wider portfolio of blue-chip clients. Through a planned programme of buy-to-grow acquisitions we aim to increase our multi-discipline offering by taking advantage of the talent and drive of recruitment businesses outside of London.
