The client is an Association for Energy Technology and Internal Combustion Engines) was founded in 1978. Since then they have grown continuously and have developed into one of the leading and internationally recognized engineering partners for the automotive and engine industries. In addition to the original focus on the development of combustion engines, further competencies in the fields of electrics / electronics, alternative drives, transmission technology and energy technology have been added. Our own experience with engine test bench investigations has led to a separate division. Today we are one of the world's leading providers of test equipment through to the representation of turnkey test centers.

In 1985, they founded a North American subsidiary for the local markets. After just two years, the company's headquarters were relocated from California to Detroit, Michigan. They have been using a newly established “North American Technical Center” since 1997, which has been continuously expanded since then.

The tremendous growth was initially strongly focused on the European and North American markets. Nevertheless, the client recognized the opportunities that were opening up on the Chinese market very early on and founded its first office in Beijing in 1998. At the beginning of the new millennium, they opened another chapter in the company's history with the establishment of the “Asian Technical Center” in Dalian, China.

In 2009 the “India Technical Center in Pune” opened. In the same year they were able to put into operation a worldwide unique endurance test center with 31 engine and drive train test stands in Brehna (near Leipzig). Thanks to the great acceptance from our customers, a further expansion of this facility began in 2011.

Operational template responsibility for the end-to-end process "Procure-to-pay".

Technical contact person for IT to support process, change and test management.

Competent contact person and intermediary between the specialist area and the IT department

Standardization of processes such as process management and monitoring of the process components anchored in the template

Content coordination with other departments and interfaces

Conceptual further development and optimization of the associated SAP modules within the framework of the strategy agreed with the business process owner.

Project responsibility as a sub-project manager, especially for international rollouts

Support and training of SAP key users (headquarters, regions, locations)

First point of contact for SAP key users for change requests (change management)

Creation, execution and logging of test cases (test management)

Successfully completed studies with a business orientation

Several years of well-founded professional experience in the SAP process "Procure-to-pay", ideally first knowledge of S / 4HANA

Knowledge of purchasing portal solutions with a connection to SAP is an advantage

Knowledge of department-specific requirements and processes (lateral thinker, lean expert, strategist)

Basic knowledge of the integration of processes (change management)

Knowledge of the required IT application systems

Fluent communication and didactic skills in English and German
