Title: Sales Manager - KAM - Nutrition & Health 

Salary: Fix + up to 30% Bonus + Company car

Type of Job: CDI – FTE - Full time

Globally it has developped its offices in the United States and Europe (Netherlands). 

II. Job General scope.

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager – KAM Nutrition & Health EU to Develop initial sales quickly and achieve the sales target in EU market for rosemary extract, functional extract (Panax Ginseng, curcumin etc.) and natural colours for N&H industries. 

Dynamic person who is customer orientated with solid scientific background.

The successful candidate will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis.  Therefore, it is important that they have the capability to use their own initiative and work independently.

The successful candidate will be expected to have Technical understanding of functional food ingredients (antioxidants, colours, sweeteners, nutritional ingredients) ... 

This position reports EU Sales director

III- Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:

•      Develop initial sales quickly and achieve the sales target in EU market for functional extract (Panax Ginseng, curcumin etc.) and natural colours in N&H industry:

•      Manage the key distributors in EU and coordinate the activities of the distributors;

•      Joint visit with the distributors or Direct visit end customers frequently to build validated pipeline projects and build brand awareness;

•      Assist marketing activities and investigating the industry, specifically demand, price, customers’ need, competitive set etc.

Assist in building the strategy for the EMEA market

 

IV. Qualification requirement:

  • 5-15 years’ sales experience on selling value added products to N&H industry
  • Technical degree in Food Science & Technology, Pharma, Biology, or Chemical.  BS or above. Solid business skills and understanding
  • Strong relationships and ability to develop key relationships within the end customers for the targeted key market segments
  • Technical understanding of functional food ingredients (antioxidants, colours, sweeteners, nutritional ingredients).
  • Proven track record of aggressive sales development in a competitive marketplace, value-added selling skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to operate independently, strong communication skills (orals and written), proven team player.
  • Proven success with top 30 N&H brands in Eu is preferred;
  • Open-minded, eager to get success, risk-taker, ambitious in career, passionate, excellent flexibility for fast growing business;
  • Strong ability to speak and write English – Frequent travel up to 50%
