Job Description

My client is a venture funded enterprise SaaS company that uses the latest in data acquisition technology and AI to revolutionize infrastructure asset lifecycle management. We have created a first of a kind asset intelligence platform built around the concept of a “Digital Twin”, with capability to build potentially unlimited sets of applications that drive productivity improvements, cost reduction and ROI improvement for our Solar Energy and Infrastructure customers. We are currently looking for a dynamic candidate to lead our marketing function with an aspiration to build a global brand and massive demand generation traction (5-10X YOY growth) using best in class B2B marketing initiatives & capabilities. We have offices in the US and India, with another office opening up in Abu Dhabi.



●Produce well-researched content for publication online

●Organize writing schedule to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines

●Follow B2B content best practices

●Become familiar with the organization to inspire ideas and content

●Communicate and cooperate with the writing team, including the Associate Director, editors, and web publisher

●Follow the marketing calendar, collaborating with other members of the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of materials

●Develop related content for multiple platforms, product descriptions, videos, and blogs, white papers, eBooks, et cetera and repurpose existing content.

●Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement

●Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of all content ●Candidate will be responsible for content creation on the blog / resources section which could include articles, whitepapers, case studies and video content for dissemination on industry media, linkedin

● The target audience is senior executives in the solar/ energy industry globally with a focus on US/Europe/ South east Asia. The role will report into VP marketing.

● Preparation of content calendar aligned with sales objectives and focus

● Familiarity with SEO practices is a must QUALIFICATION OF CONTENT WRITER:

● Prior experience in writing for technology products / energy industry will be a plus

●Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions ●Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision

●Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, marketing team, and management ●Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously

●Strict adherence to the branding and editorial style guides of our policies for publication

●Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary

●Proficiency Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Chrome, PowerPoint, and WordPress

●Quickly become familiar with client's requirements and our brand messaging and solutions (as well as our competitors)

●Already writes in a fresh, crisp style without overuse of outdated verbiage, jargon and passive sentences.

●Experience writing long- and short-format content, as well as content for different stages of the buying funnel


:●Positive attitude and willingness to learn and collaborate with the  global team

●Degree in English or journalism and speaks and writes proficiently in English 

●4-6 years as a content writer preferably for sales and marketing

●Ability to provide a portfolio of clips and complete a writing evaluation

●Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Chrome, PowerPoint and WordPress

●Ability to learn our solutions quickly

●Ability to write based upon our brand image and editorial style

●Experience writing for SEO

●Can take feedback and revise copy to desired results with no more than three rounds of revisions
