Key Accountability 1: Production Plans 1 Develop weekly/monthly plans within the specific productions line/s to ensure the overall production plan is accomplished, 2 Supervise the implementation of weekly/monthly production plans, 3 Weekly/Monthly production plans achived with maximum efficiency. Key Accountability 2: Quality Monitoring 1 Monitor raw, inprocess and finished goods quality parameters to ensure the finshed goods quality meets the specifications, 2 Monitor daily/weekly/monthly quality parameters, 3 All finished goods quality meet the specifications. Key Accountability 3: Production line/s Efficiency 1 Monitor all operations processes of the specific production line/s to ensure maximum output efficiency. 2 Monitor daily/weekly/monthly production line/s and staff efficiency, 3 Production line/s operate with maximum efficiency, Key Accountability 4: Inventory Control 1 Monitor and control all prouction inventory stock to enable proper material accuracy and management. 2 Conduct regular stock taking for all productin warehouses, 3 High accuracy between Physiacl and System stocks all the time. Key Accountability 5: Safe Operations 1 Implement and monitor HSE/GMP regulations and procedures to ensure safe operation environment for the staff/plants, 2 Monitor the implementation of all HSE, GMP and production procedures, 3 HSE, GMP and production procedures is implemented. Position Purpose To develop and manage the production section to ensure the efficient production of highest quality product at the lowest cost in meeting customer demands and provide leadership and management expertise to the production operations to achieve overall Company business goals. Accountabilities Product Manufacturing: To ensure supply of the right products in full and on time within specification to cater for sales requirements at standard cost. Business Planning: To establish an environment of continuous improvement which ensures that the identified cost, quality and service drivers each year are achieved or exceeded across manufacturing operations. Product Quality Management: To monitor and review all quality indices to ensure required TCCC & local standards are achieved. Product Supply Planning: To liaise with Head of Sales, to ensure the overall business objectives are being met, strategic sales directions are understood and their direct reports are fully briefed on the issues and activities for the state. Capital Project Management: In conjunction with Food Division Engineering staff and Finance manager, develop long and short-term capital budgets and implement capital projects and ensure assets are utilized to the optimal level. Develop and continuously analyze budget versus planned forecast and report monthly or as needed HSE Management: To implement the HSE activities within the agreed timeframes and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing the plant operations. Manning: To ensure that the production workforces are known for their competency, cooperation and flexibility in work practices through appropriate training strategies and involvement process and proactively identify high potential individuals at all levels in order to ensure DFI plant’s talent pool is able to meet current and future requirements. Develop workforce through supervision, coaching, and training. Manufacturing Overhead Management: Minimize the manufacturing cost of products through cost-effective plant operations. Reporting: Manage and report productivity, manning level, maintenance, and regulations. Maintain safe operating practices Conduct scheduled meetings (department, safety) Work very closely with the Technical and Procurement Managers regarding spares inventory and planned maintenance. Ensure all plans and strategies are effectively communicated throughout the department Review, alter and approve all departmental scheduling issues. Review and approve promotion/transfer request form Assist in the selection of prospective new hire employees and responsibility of providing the needed training. Provide the induction program for the new production staff Establish procedures and policies for reporting usage, production, and wastage in all manufacturing areas. Organize efficient Start-Up and Shut-Down procedures where required. Control and effectively use production capacity, manpower, equipment, and outside resources, through planning, organizing and scheduling to minimize losses. Ensure plant is in compliance with all international and government regulations along with company policy/procedure Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering(Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering) Experience Minimum 10 years in manufacturing leadership position as department head in a plant, With 5 years of relevant experience working as a Production Head for a Bottling/Beverage/Carbonated Drinks Plant. Proven experience in leading, managing and developing teams, able to influence people Identification and resolution of systems and planning process issues Proven experience in project management
