Senior Production Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Well Management: Overseeing the lifecycle of wells from completion to abandonment; Monitoring production performance and addressing any issues for efficient operations.
- Optimization: Designing and optimizing artificial lift systems such as sucker rod pumps, gas lifts, and electric submersible pumps (ESPs) to enhance production rates and conducting nodal analysis to ensure optimal design and performance of well production equipment.
- Surface Facilities: Setting up and maintaining surface well production facilities, managing fluid treatment and disposal processes.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration: Working closely with completion engineers to design completion systems and reservoir engineers to build reservoir models and plan Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) operations.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s (preferably Master’s) Degree in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering or a related field is required.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in petroleum engineering or production engineering are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of various artificial lift systems and production optimization techniques and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in the field with exploration and production (E&P) companies is required.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and abilities to work in a multicultural environment.
Specific working conditions:
- Rotation: 28/28 or resident with defined expatriate conditions
