 The Role: Head Sourcing

Job Purpose

Given the exponential growth plan for an increasing high expectation is on right partner sourcing. With an objective of achieving a fleet size of 60k+,  would like to bring on board a high caliber, senior professional who can spearhead sourcing of driver partners to further build our own fleet of cabs. At a time when competition for good driver partners is intensifying, the key challenge for the incumbent will be to bring in similar experiences of scale or complexity and how he/she handled that kind of numbers in terms of sourcing or hiring at a specific organization/assignment.

 

The immediate priority for this team is to build a partner pull strategy through cost effective direct and alternate channels. The incumbent will shoulder the responsibility of seeding the ambition in target high quality skilled driver partners to successfully grow as micro-entrepreneurs through business model.

 

This is an unprecedented magnitude of growth, and would involve out of box thinking and a high result orientation as key success factors for the role.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must have pan-India experience of extensive Sales Force Management . He/she should have anability to deal with complexity and nuances of various catchment/territories. The incumbent will bring in strong operational leadership, Commercial acumen, process orientation and a problem solving mind-set. Should have created impact incrementally across various sales/distribution or channel roles played. High strategic bent towards creating cost effective channels, exposure to Goto Market strategies and very high volume sales (b2c / b2sme) is desired. Managing scale in a target driven job is a must.Strong execution capability, ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and well-honed people relationship management skills are vital..

Qualification :

BE+ MBA from premier institute.

12-16 years of relevant experience in reputed organization on a high growth path.

Preferred Industry-  Consumer Durables, Telecom, Insurance

Job Details: 

Head Sourcing role would broadly be responsible for following these areas:

 

  1. Growth:  Ensuring supply of high quality driver partners to meet growth needs
  • by designing the sourcing organization and driving sales force effectiveness.
  • Target setting and alignment of growth goals based on Territory richness and potential
  • by creating alternate channels through alliances and supply marketing to generate incremental growth
  • Create a viable minimum driver partner proposition which enables sourcing in line with targets
  • Design & Enforce governing policies for channel, marketing and vendor management
  1. Drive high level Quality and Process Excellence to ensurehigh quality of supply.
  2. Help in bringing Profitability throughreduce cost of acquisition and drive efficiencies
  3. People & Culture: design and implement sales force effectiveness, create high performance culture in the team
