Reports to:
HR Director, Asia Purpose of the position
The main purpose of this position is to establish alignment of compensation and benefits policies and processes across businesses in China as well as in SEA, and to use C&B as a tool to partner with business managers to drive performance culture in Asia Key accountabilities of the position:
§ Compensation
o Under group framework establish and align job grading system in BU Asia across different businesses. Review and make necessary update adjustment on a regular basis
o Propose a total reward positioning strategy to the BU management. Establish a salary structure based on the positioning strategy and market benchmark, review and update the structure on annual basis
o Join annual market survey on C&B, analyse market trends and advise company management and HR team on annual salary review budgets, policies and process
o Modify and design when necessary, the bonus and incentive plans in Asia in order to link reward with performance more closely and transparently
o Act as subject matter expert in communicating with management team as well as HR team on reward related topics. Provide expert advice on new candidate offer, internal promotion, internal transfer, termination compensation etc compensation related topics
o Champion group C&B programs implementation in Asia such as sharing program, LTI, participate in other related group programs such as HRIS etc
o Monitor Asia C&B policies and practices to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
o Work with Talent Manager and Asia HR team, to analyse and propose appropriate talent development and retention means in order to better deploy and retain key talents in Asia
§ Benefits
o Review and align wherever possible benefits package in Asia across different business entities in order to achieve cost saving and/or optimized benefits
o Leverage group benefits program to optimize benefits offering to employees in Asia
o Monitor markets trends, advise management on any necessary changes
§ Performance management
o Contribute in driving performance culture in Asia by using C&B as a tool
o Coach and train managers when necessary on C&B related topics
o Advise management on means of driving performance culture
o Support Asia HR team on employee engagement improvement initiatives especially on C&B related topics
§ Other Responsibilities

§ Min 8+ years of C&B specialist experience with multinational companies. Generalist HR experience is a plus
§ Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology or related. MBA a plus
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with senior management team under high pressure
§ A team player and willing to learn, resilient, able to work with ambiguity
§ Excellent English language proficiency in both speaking/listening and reading/writing. French a plus
