Account receivable accountant & Credit analyst

Job Description

Job Title:Account receivable accountant & Credit analyst, China
Reports To:Accounting manager
Function:Finance (Beijing)

Key Accountabilities

−Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts related to accounts receivable(AR) and revenue, in compliance with local, US GAAP and Corporate guideline.
−Prepare revenue checklist and FOB destination testing on quarterly basis.
−Prepare VAT report on monthly basis.
−Ensure data is accurately reported as required.

−Prepare Cash flow forecast with the Corporate guideline on weekly basis.
−Prepare Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) forecast on quarterly basis.

−Issue invoices to all the customers on timely basis.
−Monitor credit limit and AR collection proactively.
−Seek approval for credit limit and special payment term from Site Controller and Corporate credit manager.
−Serve as the business partner to Sales functions on AR and credit matters.  Continuously seek opportunities on improving collection status and credit control.
−Provide key information and analysis regarding AR and credit to Corporate finance and Site managers in a concise and comprehensive way.

−Support the establishment of a control environment in AR and credit management.
−Coordinate internal and external audit in the AR and revenue related aspects.

Technical Background and skills:
·Understanding of financial and accounting principles, credit management as well as auditing and internal controls.
·Over 4 years  work experience in a similar capacity
·Good command of English in writing and speaking.
·Excellent computer software skills – preferably with knowledge of Oracle.
·A qualified accountant (e.g.  CICPA, ACCA or equivalent) would be an advantage.
