Brokerage Assistant (Temporary contract)


-Reputable Investment Bank in Belgium is looking for a Brokerage Assistant to interface between the front office and the back office of the brokerage team

-You will support the traders and sales traders with administrative tasks such as client accounts, reporting, billing  -and controlling activities, including the follow-up of current client accounts with the Institutional clients

-There are many internal stakeholders involved e.g. Buy-side support, Back-office, Accounting, Audit and Compliance

-Reporting activities can take place on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis

-You will report to the Head of your department and other relevant divisions




-Interest in Financial Markets

-Basic knowledge of Investment Products and Derivatives

-Able to work with a structured approach, following the vision of the organisation

-Comfortable working with different divisions and stakeholders

-Actively seeking to understand which types of services are offered by whom within the organisation

-Ideally fluent in English with Dutch and / or French




-Accurate and detail-oriented person who is able to deliver work without errors and handles confidential information with caution

-Analyses problems when needed and knows where to find the right information

-Seeks actively solutions for specific wishes and problems from the clients with regards to orders

-Flexible with changing hours and morning / evening shifts, taking into consideration colleagues preferences

-Knows working under pressure with an eye on priorities and common sense, without losing accuracy

-Takes responsibilities in a proactive and dynamic manner

-Strong communication skills. Able to express himself / herself in EN and FR / NL

-Sociable person, willing to work in a team, establishes good connections with all stakeholders and complements colleagues where needed
