Corporate Services Manager

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Corporate Services professional for job opportunity in MALTA.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- responsible for everyday management of client portfolios 
- ensuring all operational aspects of accounts are performed well and meticulously 
- manage relationships with other service providers in the industry, including auditors, law firms and banks
- ensuring timely and accurate book-keeping and reporting for client entities
- overseeing the preparation of financial statements
- liaising with lawyers, property managers, auditors and equivalent
- acting as a point of reference with regards to technical enquiries
- ensuring timely billing and fee recovery for client entities
- management and setup of new client structures
- overseeing completion and maintenaince of KYC and CDD files
- providing managerial support 
- undertake ad hoc projects when assigned
- take responsibility for a small team of accountants, including assigning/allocating work, coaching & training, review of their work and performance appraisals

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Accounting, Tax or Audit , with preference to candidates who have worked in a corporate services environment
- experience managing and leading a team in a client-facing role
- experience with GAAP and IFRS Accounting
- Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA), or University Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French a plus)
