The Marketing Specialist is a junior-to-mid level position in the Solutions and Services Marketing job family. They support the Solutions and Services Marketing process and work closely with the team, operating in moderately complex environments.

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Specialist is to ensure the management and co-ordination of marketing, communications and partner marketing for Solutions and Services. They contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, targeted programs, internal and external communications, sales content, partner marketing and business or pipeline development activities.

What you'll be doing

Manage marketing campaigns
The Marketing Specialist assists with the development and execution of marketing campaigns. They work within the Marketing Team to assist with

  • The development and execution of marketing activities in line with business objectives and revenue targets.
  • The development and maintenance of the Solutions and Services marketing activity calendar and supporting information, that these activities are communicated to regions consistently and timeously.
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders understand the campaign mechanisms, timing, requirements and metrics.

Contribute to program execution

  • Manage the creation of targeted demand generation programmes that are unique, relevant and executable by Business Units.
  • In liasing closely with relevant stakeholders, this individual ensures the tracking and measurement of the success of these demand generation programmes.
  • Manages the execution of programmes such as one-on-one or few campaigns, specific collateral, and other sales aids that generate new opportunities and/or close sales deals.


Co-ordinate communications

  • Manages the co-ordination of internal and external communications forums that include blogs, communities, newsletters, intranet pages, the corporate website, face-to-face forums and monthly telephonic calls.
  • Working with internal teams and external suppliers, they co-ordinate the delivery of content, tools and materials for internal and external communications.

Contribute to sales content

  • Engage in the facilitation of sales enablement activities that create alignment between sales, marketing and partners.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement teams to ensure that sales enablement components feature prominently in all relevant communications.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities related to sales enablement are obtained via the existing and recommended or relevant channels.


Behavioural Skills

As corporate citizens they are a good team player and exhibit good verbal and written communication skills. They display good planning and organising ability and are able to work with and manage many projects within the required deadlines. The Marketing Specialist uses their interpersonal skills to drive campaigns, value propositions and marketing messages.


Required Work Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a relevant role within the marketing team of a dynamic tech company
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
