Sr Service / Presales Architect

Job Description

An Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services, enabling users and their business, is urgently looking for a Sr Service / Presales Architect for its operations in BELGIUM



Assess customer requirements, develop service & solution design, cost calculation for Contractual Services, specialist in an expertise area



  • Very detailed knowledge in the area of expertise applicable (Workplace, Datacentre, Networking & Unified Communications or Cross-functions)
  • Very good understanding of the market, competition & market pricing
  • Good interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Proven commercial and customer facing capability in a business focused IT environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Negotiation skills for their area of expertise
  • Ability to design and deliver effective presentations to large audiences
  • Analytical and risk aware approach
  • Capable of working under own initiative but can work as a member of a team and taking the lead where necessary
  • Good verbal and written French and English language skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Personal flexibility & willingness to travel


  • Assess and clarify customer requirements
  • Map requirements against our existing capabilities
  • Maximise the opportunities to utilise the Shared Service Factory and other core propositions
  • Considers services & solutions outside of our existing capabilities
  • Develops an innovative and cost efficient end-to-end solution & service design (technical, operational, commercial) for the expertise area
  • States requirements to Transition & Transformation
  • Work closely with the Solution Manager and/or Sales Specialist
  • By agreement, mayassume Solution Manager responsibilities for Level B deals
  • Supports Solution Manager or Sales Specialist in driving innovation & Continuous Improvement in the expertise area
  • Supports Solution Manager in preparing and answering bid materials including writing & presenting the expertise area
  • Ensure Department meets contract base performance targets
  • Delivery of customer valued solutions & costing whilst taking into consideration Computacenter standards
  • Understand and adhere to policies and procedures
  • Effective delivery of assignments using best practise methodologies and tools
  • Successful handover of solution to Transition & Service management teams
  • Feedback from stakeholders and customers demonstrating WINNING TOGETHER competencies and Roles specific competencies
