National Sales Manager

Job Description

Key responsibilities of the NSM

• Development and coordination of the sales team on national level (20+)
• Participation in the construction of the sales strategy and implementation of the appropriate tactics to achieve this strategy
• Development and implementation of the appropriate Commercial Policy to achieve the current and future sales objectives
• Definition of measurable objectives and development plans of technical-commercial representatives, including performance indicators and product/area/customer specific objectives
• Active collaboration with the Technical and Marketing Department
• Increasing team spirit and people's involvement and motivation in the medium and long term
• Providing the necessary support to the sales team in negotiations with strategic clients
• Enhancing the company's image in relation to farmers and other customers, as an essential supplier of solutions and products for nutrition and stimulating plant growth
• Promoting the Company's image in relation to current and potential customers
• Focus on farmers and their needs, to increase understanding of market trends and ways to meet customer needs (including frequent field visits with sales team to customers and firmness
• Sales analysis of evolutions vs. goal; reporting and feedback
• Good understanding of the agribusiness market and maintaining constant contact in the area of information on new trends

The must have's of the Candidate are

AGRIBUSINESS sector sales management experience of at least 4-5 years !

• Dynamic and development-eager personality with  over-the-average entrepreneurial spirit and intellectual capacity
* Native risk taker who is able to use good analysis and argumentation competencies at all levels 
• Experience in organizing, training and managing sales teams, with a focus on motivating and training sales performance at national level
• Experience in organizing, building and implementing sales plans and strategies
• Project Management: planning, organization, action and monitoring/follow-up
• Understanding financial indicators
• Ability to understand agricultural technologies and elements of technical and technological differentiation for obtaining added value (experience/ passion for agribusiness is a plus)
• Highly results orientated
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Creator and maintainer of interpersonal relationships
• Leadership and personal impact ; great personal charisma.
