Project Buyer

In this position, our future colleague will operate as Project Buyer, by supporting all projects  to entire Plant.

Job coordinates:

  • Location: Bucharest, Romania

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Main missions

  • Manage and oversee all procurement elements for project activity as part of purchasing strategy and policy,
  • Support the actions necessary for the qualification of the suppliers before the attribution of the orders,
  • Ensure that products and services meet the needs of projects,
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of planning to avoid any delay on deliverables and manage recovery plans,
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure that requirements are passed on to suppliers,

Education and Experience:

  • You have a higher education,
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a purchasing department,
  • You have an experience in a technical industrial environment (construction would be a plus),
  • A fluent level of English is required,
  • You are versatile, proactive, organized and have a sense of priorities,
  • You are recognized for your interpersonal skills and your ability to work in team

  • Ability to manage varying volumes of work and support multiple ongoing cases;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, strong ability to handle competing priorities;
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced changing environment;
  • Integrity, pragmatism and business awareness;

  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple tasks to deadline with little supervision;

  • Self-starter who shows initiative, agility, and flexibility;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in both attitude and approach;
