Job Description

Main tasks:

  1. Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role (General Ledger, Accruals, Expense reports, Creditors, Fixed assets, Banks and Currency control, Inventories, Taxes, etc.)
  2. Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
  3. Supervise invoicing and all the bookings
  4. Support monthly and year end closing & reporting
  5. Lead and continuous development of the accounting team
  6. Keep daily contact with international SAP support team
  7. Lead accounting/controlling projects


  1. Relevant degree
  2. Valid Certificate of Chartered Professional Accountant,
  3. Solid work experience in accounting domain in different areas
  4. Excellent IT knowledge (Excel and SAP)
  5. Fluent English
  6. Participation in Tax disputes with successful results
  7. Strong knowledge of Tax and Legal requirements in Hungary
  8. Tax Ledgers and Tax Balance sheet knowledge
  9. References in statutory financial reporting, IFRS reporting is a plus
  10. Very strong hands-in knowledge of all accounting areas, taxes calculation, including VAT and Profit tax
  11. Deliberated approach to risks and consequences; ability to defend interests of the company
  12. Strong communication skills, interaction with other departments, peers and superiors
  13. Positive impact to processes
  14. Helpful and coaching attitude to subordinates and peers
  15. Ability to work in a company with international culture and structure
