Our client is a multinational company in the field of engineering services. Their local subsidiary (20+ employees) is looking for a
who would be in charge for all related subject, works with the help of regional support center and an assitant This is an independent position with main focus on finance & accounting responsibilities reporting directly to the general manager of the company. Candidates should apply who are not afraid of hands on working and grow with the role.
Accountancy and reporting related tasks:
a) Record and maintain the statutory ledgers in accordance with local regulation. Control about the auxiliary and accounting of assets: cost and depreciation. Follow up and resolve any unusual items.
b) Perform and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up on reconciling items identified
c) Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with the IR reporting requirements. Provide an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial information)
d) Responsible for statutory and tax compliance. This includes the preparation and filing of annual statutory and Tax returns, VAT, customs, intrastats, company secretarial and other reporting requirements. Liaise with internal/external auditors, tax and legal advisors.
e) Be a true business partner to support management and colleagues in terms of financial and business analysis and the interpretation thereof to support business decisions.
f) Prepare & submit monthly actual & forecasts reports providing cost centre analysis and associated narrative, full sales and margin analysis. Prepare and present, as required, ad-hoc reports for both local and corporate management with reference to the operating or financial performance of the company.
g) Ensure proper valuation and control over inventories.

a) University degree in economy or related field
b) Accounting experience in independent position (chartered accountant registration)
c) Fluent English spoken and written
d) Be independent and self learning
e) Understanding of finance and business processes
f) Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
