The position analyses business requirements and designs and implements process and system improvements following a best-practices based approach.
The Business Analyst works closely with key users and business leaders and across multiple levels in the organization. He/she plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and advancing business.
The successful candidate will possess a strong combination of analytical and technical skills and will design best practice SAP solutions or adapt existing solutions within the European operations.
This is an operational position with the following key responsibilities:
a) Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required.
b) Provide guidance on technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed solutions when alternative solutions are available.
c) Analyze, model and document current-state and future-state business processes.
d) Design and implement process improvements and system enhancements that conform to industry and application best-practices.
e) Collaborate with technology partners, cross-functional IT groups and the Business to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of development in support activities.
f) Encourage best practice and knowledge sharing with partners and cross-functional groups.
a) Broad IT/technical appreciation - including SAP functionality and technology.
b) Experience in functional/technical architecture in complex SAP and non-SAP environments.
c) Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
d) Ability to work under own initiative and under tight time pressures - planning, prioritizing and controlling own workload.
e) Continuous Improvement - Inquisitive - self teaching of relevant new business thinking and technology solutions.
