Manager Accounting Shared Service Center (SSC)
The accounting section of the SSC in Cluj Napoca delivers periodically and timely high quality (mainly balance sheets, P&L statements and cash flow statements) and ad hoc financial information regarding 15-20 (inter)national legal entities. Internal customers are senior financial management, business control (for further analyses & interpretation) and group control (for consolidation purposes). SSC includes functions like general ledger accountants (BUA), accounts-payable clerks and cost controllers.

2. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Managing the centrally provided accounting & reporting services for internal customers within company. Oversight and execution of all general accounting and reporting activities for over 15 (inter)national legal entities.

-Team leaders, BUA’s, A/P clerks, cost controllers. In total about 30 FTE.

The Manager SSC is responsible for:

The powers required to assume the responsibilities and activities, including providing requested and non-requested advice to CFO, Group Control and internal customers. Power to provide instructions to accounting SSC employees and impose disciplinary measures.
Power to provide functional instructions to the SSC customers and/or stakeholders.

Language Fluent in English and Romanian
Education Level: Minimum Higher Vocational Education, and 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience. Professional qualifications ACCA / CIMA / Certified Auditor/ CECCAR will be a plus
