Human Resource Director - Slovakia

Job Description

This role will look for a local or an expatriate, an experienced HR Manager to work in SLOVAKIA on a really challenging HRD project.
 
Direct reporting to EMEA HR Director and will coordinate a department of ~30 people permanent and interns.
 
Human Resources Country Leader provides a full scale HR leadership to support overall business objectives to all businesses in the Presov office and HR initiatives implementations in the location. Accountable to ensure that business operations meet all HR requirements enabling to meet business goals. Leads local HR Generalists to ensure the delivery of HR services in compliance with all governance requirements and in line with all corporate HR goals. Partners closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders in order to support business strategy and results across all HR domains including: Labor & Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Change Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Organizational Development and Operational Efficiencies.
 
Main tasks will be:
  • Acts as the HR partner of Site/ Business Leader to build an innovative, performance-driven, dynamic and high-impact organization; is a member of the site leadership team
  • Responsible for implementation of company values in the entire organization
  • Creates, modifies and/ or implements all HR related procedures regarding staffing, training, hiring, compensation, disciplinary, payroll, time and attendance, etc
  • Responsible for setting up the Annual planning,  budgets on salaries, training, benefits (labor cost)
  • Monitors during the year, together with finance and site leader, the evolution of cost vs. budget and proposes actions to keep cost on track
  • Understands and provides support for Strategic Planning upon request
  • Ensure the production of timely, accurate and up-to-date HR management information and statistics as required by the management
  • Demonstrates current knowledge of contemporary trends in HR and the ability to apply those when needed
  • Builds trusting relationships with key business customers
  • Coordinates, support and is responsible for all activities according IATF16949 & ISO9001 related to Department
  • Manage the development of his team members through the HPD and MRR process
  • Executive MRR process
  • Lead and complete the Performance & Development Summaries, Compensation planning, Performance&Compensation discussions, Mid Year assessment, goals 
  • Develops the HR organization, process, system and infrastructure to ensure operational excellence in HR processes and a robust HR governance framework
  • Coordinates and continuously improves internal and external communications
  • Implements the HOS principles in the Human Resources Department
  • Observes and ensures following of work rules and internal HS&E guidelines resulting from responsibilities of managers and other employees in HS&E areas in the current wording
  • Responsible for following the management systems in production, quality, HS&E areas and other external and internal standards and regulations
  • Responsible for organizational development for each of the HOS phase
  • HR technology: proficiency with tools like : People Soft, HR Direct, GCP HPD, 360 Feedback, Bravo, eTalent, learning hub
  •  Plus all the other key HRM tasks as usual relating Staffing , Recruitment, Learning & Talent development, Comp & ben, labor & Employee relationship 

    Key profile requirements:

    Masters degree required
    * 5 to 10 years in HR, 2 in leadership positions
    * Knowledge of company processes & Tools to manage people (HPD, PDS, MRR, GCP, R&R ) & ability of assessing training needs

    * Knowledge of IATF16949 & ISO9001

    * Knowledge of AOP & STRAP planning

    * English fluent

    * Knowledge of company processes & Tools to manage people (HPD, PDS, MRR, GCP, R&R ) & ability of assessing training needs

    * Successful track record of initiating People strategies to support business growth

    * Strong project management skills

    * Excellent communication skills with people of different backgrounds; global mindset and ability to operate in a multicultural environment

    * People management experience

    * Previous relevant experience with modern production management tools (Continuous Improvement, Visual Factory, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma)

    * Demonstrated ability to positively influence others

    * Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations

    * Result orientation with high productivity; strong desire for success; strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency

    * Ability to work in a strong matrix environment
